About Us
CIRCO KERNOW was established in 2002 as the educational arm of Swamp Circus Trust.
We are a registered charity and training provider working within communities across mid-Cornwall’s Coast to Coast area.
The charity works to provide Well Being for those in need including family and community projects. Both physical and mental health provision are core to our work alongside care for the natural environment and zero emission design.
We provide workshops and courses for schools and other community groups, offering specialist, accredited, vocational training. Circo Kernow works with community partners in the most deprived neighbourhoods and receives referrals from GPs and those in danger of exclusion at Schools.
Circo Kernow is proud to be the region’s first and only Accredited Circus Training school based in Cornwall. We offer accredited training courses, work experienceand progression routes to those aged 12+ who are out of work and education.
Although we mainly work with young people, there is no upper age limit and our oldest graduate so far is 76!

Who is Swamp Circus?
SWAMP CIRCUS is an award-winning company that has designed major performance arts and environmental projects in Cornwall and over 35 countries worldwide.
Swamp Circus Big Top venues and shows have worked for over 20 years with major events and festivals across the South West.
Our tutors and artists are the cream of the crop and we wanted to share their knowledge and experiences with the local community – hence the formation of SWAMP CIRCUST TRUST.
